Author of over 100 publications in Bulgaria and abroad in the area of polymer materials. He has 30 inventors' certificates and 7 patents for inventions. He repeatedly specialized in Germany and Spain as a Fellow of the Foundation DAAD, the Scientific Committee of NATO and the program TEMPUS. In 2001 he was honored with inclusion in the Golden Book of inventors and innovators in Bulgaria. In recent years, he is also interested in issues of intellectual property.

Rumyana Dobreva

The first licensed representative for intellectual property rights for new plant varieties and animal breeds in Bulgaria; industrial property representative for inventions, trademarks and designs; european patent representative; lawyer; consultant at IP Consulting. Since 1997 she has been working in the field of protection of new plant varieties as an object of intellectual property, represents bulgarian and foreign applicants for registration of new plant varieties before the Patent Office and IASAS, provides consulting to agricultural research institutes and companies in the food industry. As a lawyer, she has extensive experience in case law, especially in cases, involving violations of intellectual property rights as well as protection against unfair competition before the Commission for Protection of Competition.
